Handling and Care of Pictures:

Work of fine art or Pictures on paper or canvas may be damaged if exposed over time to direct sunlight, or changes in humidity. To avoid scratching your print, it should never be wiped with a cloth or sprayed with any kind of cleaner. Pictures may be treated with protective sealer to guard against contact with water. Ideally, however. the print surface should never be touched, even when coated. Dust should be blown off the surface. If necessary, a light feather duster should be used to remove dust build up and only if the print has been properly coated. Fluids should never be used to clean a print.

Stretching of Canvas Pictures:

When we refer to a 'Stretched Print', we are referring to a canvas print in which the canvas is secured to a wooden framework. The stretching of a print adds support to the canvas so that it will not buckle or bend and also prevents accidental creasing when handling. Canvas Pictures, because of their quality, require the same attention to detail as 'Works of Art' on canvas.

Processing and Print Materials:

Paper media captures maximum color, depth and intricate image details to deliver excellent photo quality pictures. We use high quality paper and processes to ensure that Pictures are of outstanding quality.

Framing and Mounting of Pictures:

See: Framing & Mounting

Laminating:

When framing or wood mounting is not an option, lamination is an alternative solution for protecting your printed photo or image from fading, dirt, fingerPictures, moisture and other contaminants.

Can you send me a sample proof of my print?

Since our Pictures are very large we can only send a small section for review and approval.

International Shipping:

Due to Customs and Brokerage issues International Shipping is priced separately.

Printing Sizes:

Typical sizes are from 24" x 48" to 96" x 300". However any size can be made depending upon the quality (resolution) of the original image. Very large sizes can be made to virtually any length. However it is usually best with long sizes to construct the final Pictures into smaller sections. An example would be to make a 60" x 240" picture into five pictures 60" x 48" wide.

Holes in the rear of Framed Pictures:

Paper backing is added for a professional, finished look. However for ventilation purposes, holes are cut in the top of each frame to assist in preventing mildew from forming on the back of the canvas which would eventually cause the ink to crack or peel from the front side of the canvas.

Gloss and Matte finishes:

Pictures may be in a variety of surface finishes and textures depending on the type of material selected - Various Canvases, Paper, Vinyl or ABS. Pictures may then be coated for protection in gloss, semi-gloss or matte to enhance the final picture.
